JamboJon Websites FAQ.
Frequently Asked Questions
On average a JamboJon website costs between 2,000 and 6,000 US$. Final prices are determined by the scope and size of the project. Landing pages, informational or sometimes called “brochure websites” are on the lesser end of the spectrum while custom programmed web applications and commerce sites tend to be higher. All of our websites are complete. Meaning, you don’t get a site where you are required to add the content. The pricing structure includes the cost of content.
There are many web developers/designers that are experts in programming, design, or content. JamboJon designs the site, programs it then adds the content creating what we consider a complete site. Our prices reflect the fusion of all aspects of the web development process. We also have a strong background in marketing so advertising and social media experience is taken into consideration when crafting the site.
We believe that a website should be yours once it is created. Our pricing is a complete product pricing structure and not a month to month retainer. Since it is yours, you are not locked into monthly pricing for the life of your site.
Our websites include the design, programming and content of the website. We take a considerable amount of time researching your industry, understanding your business, philosophies and unique selling proposition. Consulting is a major part of what we do.
Yes, every good website needs to be updated and freshened up. Since this is an ongoing endeavor, update charges are applicable.
Typically, websites are charged by the project. This way the website belongs to you and your site will not be taken down for payment reasons.
We don’t believe in reinventing the wheel. We often look for plugins and code that already exists so you are not charged for a duplicated effort. We also spend a lot of time understanding project requirements before we begin development saving time on rework.
You can help us keep development times to a minimum by being responsive. Many times we require photos and other information. By getting us what we need, we can get the project completed quicker, saving you money.
There are two different payment options. We typically do 50% down and 50% on delivery. However we do have an option where you can pay 1/3 the project price in three monthly installments. For ongoing website marketing, we bill at the beginning of each month for the work done in the prior 30 days.

All of our websites are custom. Though we may use similar coding infrastructures, your site design will be unique to your company. Our layouts are more than changing a color and swapping out pictures. Every website is “crafted” for your needs. We know the tricks to speed up the process but that doesn’t mean we don’t make the site unique to you.
We use a variety of programming languages, Java, PHP, jQuery, CSS and more.
Programming can be an issue when taking over a site. Is your site written well using usability and programming standards? Is it easy to update? Did your previous programmer document his/her code well. When we audit your website, we can give you an idea of its expansion capabilities.
This depends on several factors. We generally try to work with what you have. However if your site is prone to limitations or has not been updated in years, than we will recommend a rebuild.
At a minimum, we like to have weekly contact with your business during the development process. It can be as much as daily, depending on the project scope and size.
